  A visit to Monze

A visit to Monze - Anti-AIDS Club project under Family Health Trust

This visit targeted at Anti AIDS clubs involving the youth was under taken 28-31 July, 2002. It was organized in partnership with Family Health Trust – Anti-AIDS Club project. The visit attracted 28 participants from youth NGOS and CBOs of rural and urban areas in Lusaka, Southern, Luapula, Northern, Copperbelt, Central and Eastern provinces of Zambia.

The main objective of the workshop was to increase the use of safer sexual practices by improving the effectiveness of peer educators in dissemination of accurate information and education through participatory and interactive approaches.


(i) Official opening
The official opening was done by ZNAN Co-ordinator Mr Listard Banda who gave a background of ZNAN and its objectives and also encouraged all participants to feel free and actively participate in the activities on the programme during the 3 days exchange visit.

  • To learn how to take care of people living with HIV/AIDS
