ZNAN membership comprises HIV/AIDS service organisations involved in the following areas:-

    * Home Based Care (HBC) Community Based Organizations (CBOs)
    * Community Based grassroots organizations other than HBCs
    * Anti-Aids Clubs
    * Youth and AIDS Organisations
    * Care and Support to Orphans and Vulnerable Children(OVC)
    * Care and support to PLWAs
    * Care and support to mother and child
    * Women and AIDS
    * Voluntary Counselling and Testing
    * Government and Quasi Government Institutions
    * Information, Education and Communication (IEC) organizations
    * Faith Based Organisations
    * Locally Based International NGOs

All local AIDS service Non-government Organisations and CBOs are accorded full membership of the Network whereas locally based, international NGOs and government/quasi government organizations are accorded associate membership.

This strategic plan is intended to guide operations of the Zambia National AIDS Network (ZNAN) from 2006 to 2010.  The development of the plan involved a participatory process that started with a situation analysis for the organisation and culminated in the conduct of a strategic planning workshop from 11th to 12th May 2006 that brought together ZNAN staff, Liaison Committee members and other stakeholders. Progress in implementing planned activities and achieving strategic objectives for the ZNAN will be reviewed with staff and ZNAN stakeholders at regular intervals.
